Designed to boost flow to between 7 and 12 litres per minute, depending on incoming flow, TapBoost provides an easy solution. Ideal for when a slow flowing kitchen tap means the kettle takes an age to fill, a trickling bathroom tap is making washing hands difficult, or if you’re tired of waiting for the toilet cistern to refill. The pump can be fitted at multiple locations around the house, including bathroom and kitchen sinks, bath taps, garden taps, toilet cisterns, dishwashers and washing machines. TapBoost is also incredibly quiet and its inline design with robust brass fittings makes it easy to install in either a mains-fed or a gravity-fed system. When there is more than one outlet that’s causing an issue, Salamander Pumps has a range of other products to help boost water around the home, including shower and whole house pumps, larger inline pumps and accumulator tanks.

Applications
Key features
In many properties the traditional hot water cylinder and conventional central heating boiler has been replaced by a combi-boiler or pressurised hot water system. These types are connected directly to the incoming mains water supply and are referred to as an 'unvented system'. However, whilst these heating and hot water systems tend to be more efficient and offer advantages over traditional boiler and cylinder systems, there is one potential drawback. They are reliant on incoming mains pressure and flow to operate effectively. In some instances the ability of the mains supply to deliver the flow of water required at pressure can be lacking and delivers a disappointing performance.
The system performance is dependent on the incoming mains pressure to the property, which may be low or intermittent. Unvented systems typically require a minimum 1.5 bar working pressure and 20 litres per minute flow to operate effectively.
Mainsboost offers the easiest solution to low or intermittent mains water pressure for any sized property, using a simple and effective technology to ensure that when an outlet is opened, an unrestricted flow of water is delivered at pressure to boost the incoming mains supply, and allow combination boilers and unventilated water cylinders to perform at their optimum, with guaranteed performance to power luxury modern shower heads. Delivering water where you want it, when you want it.
